At this year’s trade fair, the SCC-Center featured many innovations and activities.
> 100 registered visitors at the stand either took part in the survey on digitalization or inquired about the consulting services offered by the SCC-Center and its consulting partners.
Together with our partner Logistikplan and consulting partner SCC-Center Kowalewski, we were able to answer all visitor questions regarding digitalization in transport and logistics.

Presentation of the new requirements specification templates for LVS/WMS (Warehouse) and TMS (Transport)
Since 2005, the SCC-Center has been providing its customers with requirements specification templates as a basis for requirement identification and tendering.
As part of a revision and expansion campaign, the new versions of the requirements specification templates for warehouse and transport were presented for the first time at the trade fair.
In the transport sector, the functional areas of sea freight, air freight, customs, and documents were added. (a total of > 400 new criteria). With > 2,900 criteria, the new requirements specification in this process area now has the most extensive content in the industry.
Dirk Kowalewski was responsible for the expansions in this area.
The requirements specification template for warehouse management was completely redesigned and supplemented with all relevant criteria. It now features > 900 criteria.

Participants had the chance to win many copies of the book “Digitalization in Industry, Trade, and Logistics”.
The results will be published in a specialist article in Verkehrsrundschau on June 28, 2019. The winners will be notified afterwards.
Presentation of the “digital folder” as a new communication medium
At the SCC-Center, the “shoemaker has the best shoes”! We always rely on the latest digital technology in our projects. Since 2005, we have been using the research and tendering platforms of Trovarit AG, for example, and most recently the digital folder® as an internet-based medium for digital document communication.
The digital folder® is used for quotes and project documentation in our consulting projects and generates enthusiasm among our customers across the board. True to our motto “don’t preach wine while drinking water yourself.” A bad habit that unfortunately occurs in many management consultancies.
Anyone who supports their customers with digitalization should be highly digitalized themselves. At the SCC-Center, that is exactly the case!
