New Specialist Book Fills a Gap

“Professional Software Selection and Implementation in Logistics” – A guide from process analysis to deployment optimization, now available from Springer Gabler.

Modern and innovative IT solutions are indispensable for logistics today.

Anyone who has previously looked for specialist books that not only explain the relevant logistics processes in industry and for logistics service providers, but also provide a practical guide for the selection and implementation of the necessary software for process optimization, has done so in vain until now.

No wonder, because most management consultants are afraid to make their know-how available to a broad public and thus make themselves dispensable.

However, anyone involved in the selection and implementation of a new IT solution needs exactly such a guide to protect against costly wrong decisions.

Not every company can afford a consultant for this. This problem could not be solved independently until now!

To support this objective, Prof. Dr. Pfennig, from the Transport Business Administration and Logistics (VB) degree program at Heilbronn University, and Christoph Groß, management consultant and IT selection and process specialist from the SCC-Center, have teamed up.
