{"id":12150,"date":"2020-01-15T13:12:32","date_gmt":"2020-01-15T12:12:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.der-digitalisierungsberater.de\/wms-lvs-it-case-study-with-students-from-heilbronn-university\/"},"modified":"2026-04-26T17:16:57","modified_gmt":"2026-04-26T15:16:57","slug":"wms-lvs-it-case-study-with-students-from-heilbronn-university","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.der-digitalisierungsberater.de\/en\/wms-lvs-it-case-study-with-students-from-heilbronn-university\/","title":{"rendered":"WMS\/LVS IT Case Study with Students from Heilbronn University"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_medium\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row via_flex valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"vc_col-sm-12 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h1 class=\"w-post-elm post_title us_custom_f1034982 has_text_color align_center entry-title color_link_inherit\">WMS\/LVS IT Case Study with Students from Heilbronn University<\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_medium\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row via_flex valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"vc_col-sm-6 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>In the current semester, <strong>Christoph Gro\u00df<\/strong> once again supervised students from <strong>Heilbronn University<\/strong> in a successful IT case study on the topic: <span style=\"color: #4580c2;\"><strong>Requirements analysis and selection of a WMS\/LVS solution<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.der-digitalisierungsberater.de\/softwaresuchmaschine\/\">IT-Matchmaker<\/a> was used again as a medium for software search.<\/p>\n<p>The presentation of results to an audience consisting of several <strong>fellow students<\/strong> from the university, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xing.com\/profile\/Roland_Pfennig\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prof. Dr. Roland Pfenning<\/a>, and representatives from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dieter-schwarz-stiftung.de\/homepage.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dieter Schwarz Stiftung gGmbH<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/jobs.schwarz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Schwarz IT KG<\/a> (Lidl and Schwarz) received <strong>very positive feedback.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Background information<\/strong>: Through collaboration on the book projects <a href=\"https:\/\/www.der-digitalisierungsberater.de\/Leistungen\/professionelle-softwareauswahl-und-einfuehrung-in-der-logistik\/\"><em><strong>&#8220;Professional Software Selection &amp; Implementation in Logistics&#8221;<\/strong><\/em><\/a> and <em><strong>&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.der-digitalisierungsberater.de\/Leistungen\/digitalisierung-in-industrie-handel-und-logistik\/\">Digitalization in Industry, Trade and Logistics&#8221;<\/a><\/strong><\/em> together with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hs-heilbronn.de\/roland.pfennig\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prof. Dr. Roland Pfenning, holder of the Chair of Transport Economics and Logistics<\/a> at Heilbronn University, it was clear to Christoph Gro\u00df that he should also make his knowledge available to students.<\/p>\n<p>For several years, he has supported Prof. Pfenning with workshops as part of lectures and, more recently, with supervision of practical IT case studies.
